We have put together a fantastic itinerary, allowing our visitors to take a slower-paced, immersive tour of Ireland’s highlights. Perfect for first time visitors to our little island, and for those that do not wish to travel in a large tour bus. On our trip you will meet the locals, engage in fun activities, stay in wonderful hotels (vetted by us personally) and all the while travel in comfort with your friendly driver – guide. Sample the best of food and make friends for life. Slow down and take in Ireland’s culture and heritage, without the hassle of navigating or driving on your own.

Throughout the tour you will take part in included activities, from a sheepdog herding livestock to watching local craftspeople demonstrating their trades. You will be immersed in Culture and heritage that gives Ireland its identity and has helped shaped the welcoming nature of Irish people for millennia. Your accommodation is in hand-picked hotels and guest houses, vetted by us over several years. They excel on cleanliness, amenities, location, value and service. We recommend restaurants, cafés and eateries (as well as the occasional pub) wherever we go, taking you to the best spots you may have never heard of!
Starting in Dublin city centre, meet your guide and board your luxury minibus. Stop off Heading west, towards Galway, stop off in Ireland’s oldest pub, Sean’s Bar Athlone. Discover the beautiful stained-glass windows of Church of Saints Peter and Paul, a Roman Catholic parish church. Continue to Galway, the city of the Tribes. Join your guide on a short walking tour of Galway, detailing it’s history throughout the ages, and learn about famous visitors to its medieval streets. Check into your hotel. Free time to discover Galway city’s culture and music. Your guide will recommend restaurants and pubs to your liking.
Overnight in Galway 1/2
This morning, depart your hotel to discover the wilderness of the majestic landscape of Connemara. Boasting an impressive coastline, as well as a mountainous landscape, fishing villages, bogs, lakes and fjords, it is a truly inspiring part of our trip. We visit the town of Cong – of Quiet man movie fame, as well as benedictine monastery of Kylemore Abbey and take in its’ majestic grounds as well as the Victorian walled garden. Admission is included. We take in the cute town of Clifden, all the while your guide will let you know all about this area and some hidden gems along the way. So, sit back and enjoy your day trip, to one of Ireland’s most serene and beautiful areas.
Overnight in Galway 2/2
Your guide and minibus will collect you at your accommodation, and whisk you away south, towards the Limestone region of the Burren national park, 1500 hectares of Mountains, bogs, grasslands and forests, as well as landscapes unlike anywhere else on earth. Stop off at Paulnabrone Dolmen, a stone age portal tomb from over 500 years ago! Visit a sheepherding demonstration and Caherconnell Ring fort, a working farm in the heart of the Burren, before taking in the Majestic Cliffs of Moher. We take the ferry across the river Shannon, to the Kingdom of Kerry and our overnight accommodation in Killarney town.
Overnight – Killarney 1/2
We begin the day by taking a trip to Kerry Woollen mills, to speak to the craftspeople there about the process of manufacturing authentic Irish wool, as well as the challenges and developments in the industry. Following this we proceed towards Dingle town and our Whiskey distillery experience. We then take the magnificent Slea head drive, stopping off along the way, before returning to dingle for some free time to discover the town. Returning to Killarney for our evening meal and a Celtic music and dance show with Gaelic roots. One of the highlights of this trip!
Overnight Killarney 2/2
The day begins with your guide meeting you at your hotel, and while we load your luggage, a Jaunting (Horse and cart ) car will collect you at the hotel, and bring you trough the Killarney national park to Ross Castle a 15th century tower house, on the banks of Lough Leane. You will then be met by our guide and driven to county Cork and visit the Blarney Castle and gardens. We then proceed south, to the historic town of Kinsale, on the Cork coast, and the start of the Wild Atlantic Way.
Overnight Kinsale 1/1
This morning, we begin travelling a little later, giving you time to explore the town of Kinsale with the world renowned Don and Barry’s walking tour. We then travel out of Kinsale and visit Charles Fort, a 17th century Bastion type fort overlooking Kinsale harbour. We then proceed to the Rock of Cashel, in county Tipperary, the seat of kings of Munster and magnificent architecture. Travelling through, the ‘Golden Vale’ we proceed to our last overnight in the medieval city of Kilkenny.
Overnight Kilkenny 1/1
We travel north east, to the monastic city of Glendalough, in the Wicklow national park. Passing via the Wicklow Gap, we travel through the glacial valley and retrace the steps of pilgrims from centuries past. Your guide will take you on a walking tour of Glendalough, before allocating some free time for discovery at your own pace, allowing you to take in the waterfalls and forests of this beautiful landscape. We finish the tour in Dublin city centre.

Yes, there is a single supplement applicable for solo travellers, as hotels in Ireland charge a premium for this.
Most places in Ireland accept cards and or cash. You may wish to purchase small items during the day or leave a gratuity in cash. You can also use your card to withdraw from an ATM. A guide amount is about €50 per day in cash.
We always recommend you take out travel insurance for your trip. It is a condition of booking that you are insured against medical and personal accident risks.
Depending on your travel arrangements, you may wish to book accommodation for before and / or after the tour.
